Each year, almost 3,000 men die from Prostate Cancer. The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) is tasked to be the national body and provide research, awareness and prevention of prostate cancer.
To create an annual report that would be interesting, that would place the stories of men with prostate cancer at the forefront and outline PCFA’s impact over the past year. In the process we were to develop a unique PCFA style and photographic image library.
We wanted the report to ‘put a face’ to Australian men with prostate cancer, the researchers involved, and the care that PCFA coordinates for those men with prostate cancer.
In addition to the usual annual report requirements, we created a bold, positive and hopeful style that showcased full-frontal images of the men affected, the researchers and PCFA’s day-to-day operations.
What made it Marlin?
It was beautiful to look at, easy to read and full-page images brought this subject to life in a way that hadn’t been done before.
Later, this design was used as inspiration for the entire organisation’s brand refresh, which was also undertaken with Marlin.
